Summary

Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst will serve as a critical liaison between business, IT, and external vendors to define and deliver Patient Services capabilities. This role requires deep expertise in patient onboarding, benefits investigation, adherence programs, and overall patient support services. The analyst will translate patient-focused strategies into actionable system requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards. The role also involves supporting Agile delivery, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving successful implementation of patient service solutions.

Required Skills
  • Patient Services domain expertise (onboarding, benefits investigation, adherence, support programs)
  • Experience with HUB models / patient support services
  • Strong experience in writing user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience
  • Stakeholder management across business, IT, and vendors
  • End-to-end patient journey mapping
  • UAT planning, execution, and defect triage
  • Knowledge of compliance: HIPAA, GDPR, AE reporting
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst
  • Experience in pharma, life sciences, or patient services domain
  • Hands-on experience with patient onboarding, benefits investigation, and adherence programs
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
Additional Skills
  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud / Service Cloud
  • Experience with Veeva CRM
  • Exposure to patient HUB systems
  • Understanding of access and reimbursement processes
  • Experience with omnichannel patient engagement
Additional Notes
  • Strong collaboration required with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Privacy teams
  • Define and track KPIs such as enrollment conversion, adherence, and time-to-therapy
