Job Title: PowerEdge Infrastructure Consultant
Responsibilities
- Provide infrastructure support, guidance, and stability throughout the deployment and migration effort
- Maintain awareness of migration activities and processes, but not serve as the primary executor
- Support the environment and assist as needed, without being responsible for leading migrations
Required Skills:
- Strong PowerEdge infrastructure background combined with solid VMware experience, particularly with exposure to migration environments.
- OpenManage Enterprise (OME) experience is highly preferred, including:
- Deployment and implementation
- Managing large-scale environments
- The migration landscape includes:
- Primarily VMware-to-VMware migrations (vSphere 7 on legacy HP infrastructure to newer vSphere environments)
- Some Hyper-V to VMware migrations, managed by a separate subcontractor team
Work Site: New York City, NY
Duration: 11 months
Expected Start Date: Immediate
