Summary

Job Title: Senior ETL Developer

Location: Remote

Summary: Red Cedar is seeking a Senior ETL Developer to join a dynamic development team responsible for gathering requirements, designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes across multiple platforms and technologies. The role involves building scalable data integration solutions, supporting data warehousing initiatives, troubleshooting ETL workflows, and working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, automate, and maintain ETL processes with minimal supervision.
  • Support manual ETL tasks for development and implementation projects.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve ETL processing issues and defects.
  • Perform data modeling, database design, and ETL development in an Agile environment.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, functions, and data transformation logic.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with data warehousing and end-to-end ETL implementations.
  • Strong SQL development skills, including complex queries and functions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must hold a current CompTIA Security+ certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with document databases such as MongoDB or CouchDB.
  • Experience with database automation.
  • Experience with cloud database administration.
  • Coding and debugging experience with a strong engineering background.
  • Experience designing and implementing administrative dashboards.
