Summary

The Senior Director I, RGM Value Realization will lead NAOU value realization and commercial investment governance across the total portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President, RGM Strategy & Execution, the role will provide a single enterprise view of whether major RGM and commercial investments are delivering the intended growth, profit, and system value, with particular focus on Incentives, Retail Media Networks, SOVI, GTM, CTM, and other material commercial investment programs.

This is a focused, action-oriented accountability role rather than a large reporting team. The role will connect investment visibility, strategic alignment, ROI, conditionality, and execution outcomes; identify over- and under-investment or value leakage; and embed closed-loop routines that drive correction. Value Realization does not design Portfolio OBPPC strategy, customer pricing, promotions, or customer execution; accountable teams retain those decisions, while this role provides enterprise governance, transparency, challenge, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the NAOU commercial investment governance framework across Incentives, Retail Media Networks, SOVI, GTM, CTM, promotions, activation, and other material commercial-spend buckets.
  • Create a transparent enterprise view of how much NAOU is investing, where, for what purpose, with which customer/channel/brand/package, and against which expected business outcome.
  • Monitor whether major RGM and commercial decisions landed as intended, identifying gaps between approved investment assumptions, marketplace execution, and actual value delivery.
  • Establish value-realization routines that connect commercial spend to incremental volume, transactions, revenue, gross profit, margin, share, consumer/shopper outcomes, and system value.
  • Identify over-investment, under-investment, stranded spend, weak conditionality, and opportunities to redirect resources toward higher-return growth priorities.
  • Lead cross-lever reviews that connect Incentive, SOVI, GTM, CTM, Retail Media Networks, promotions, and other investments into a coherent total commercial investment view rather than separate workstreams.
  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, RGM Execution, Retail Strategy & Digital Capability, Portfolio OBPPC, eCommerce, customer teams, and bottlers to validate assumptions, explain deviations, and agree corrective actions.
  • Develop common governance, RACI, KPIs, investment taxonomies, reporting standards, and decision routines that improve transparency and accountability across commercial spend.
  • Challenge investment choices through fact-based comparisons across customers, brands, channels, packages, and investment buckets, while respecting the decision rights of the accountable strategy and execution teams.
  • Embed corrective-action tracking into business routines, ensuring agreed actions have clear owners, timing, and follow-through rather than ending with passive dashboards or reporting.
  • Build reusable value-realization principles, tools, and learning loops that feed results back into future strategy, planning, investment allocation, and execution decisions.

Success Measures

  • Clear enterprise visibility of total commercial investment across major spend buckets and business dimensions.
  • Measurable improvement in commercial-investment effectiveness, ROI, conditionality, and alignment with NAOU growth priorities.
  • Faster identification and correction of value leakage, execution gaps, over-investment, and under-investment.
  • Closed-loop accountability embedded in RGM and Commercial business routines without creating a passive reporting organization.
  • Improved quality of future investment allocation through fact-based learning from actual marketplace outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional, customer-team, Finance, and bottler alignment around commercial-investment governance and corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, analytics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 8-10 years of experience in Revenue Growth Management, commercial finance, trade investment, pricing, customer strategy, commercial analytics, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial investment and trade-spend economics, including incentives, promotions, retail media, SOVI/space investments, GTM/CTM, and customer funding mechanisms.
  • Advanced financial and analytical capability, including ROI, incrementality, profitability, margin, investment allocation, customer P&L, and scenario analysis.
  • Proven ability to integrate multiple commercial-spend sources and translate complex financial and execution data into clear decisions and corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of customer, bottler, and system economics and the ability to balance enterprise growth with customer and bottler value creation.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional governance or performance-management initiatives without relying on direct authority.
  • Advanced stakeholder management, constructive challenge, influencing, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate investment performance, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to senior leaders and action owners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in trade investment optimization, TPO, customer P&L, commercial finance, retail media measurement, or commercial-spend governance.
  • Knowledge of Coca-Cola system investment mechanisms such as Incentives, SOVI, GTM, CTM, Digital/Retail Media Networks, or comparable investment levers.
  • Experience with commercial investment analytics, dashboards, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable planning and visualization tools.
  • Experience working across national customers, local customers, franchise/bottler partners, and digital commerce environments.
  • Agile, test-and-learn, governance transformation, or commercial capability-building experience.
  • Leadership Capabilities
  • Action-oriented mindset with a strong bias for value capture and corrective action.
  • Independent commercial judgment and willingness to constructively challenge investment choices.
  • Ability to connect strategy, financial performance, marketplace execution, and system economics.
  • Influence through facts, transparency, and clear accountability in a complex matrixed organization.
  • Clear, credible communication with senior internal, customer-team, Finance, and bottler stakeholders.
