All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.

The IT Manager, SAP Architecture will serve as the architecture lead and design authority for the Finance and Accounting Reinvention (FAR) program, guiding the future-state SAP finance architecture from strategy through implementation. The Architecture Manager will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and system integration partners to translate business goals into practical solution designs, resolve complex design trade-offs, and drive consistent architecture decisions across workstreams. The role requires strong leadership in process modernization, integration strategy, data design, reporting enablement, internal controls, and operational readiness.

As a key leader in the FAR program, this manager will help simplify legacy complexity, strengthen financial controls, improve reporting and decision-making capabilities, and enable a modern finance platform that supports long-term business transformation.

Essential Functions:
  • Define and drive the overall SAP architecture roadmap for the FAR program, ensuring alignment with finance transformation goals, enterprise architecture standards, and business priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA Finance, FI/CO, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, controlling, reporting, and integration touchpoints.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, enterprise architecture, security, data, and external implementation partners to translate business requirements into practical, scalable architecture designs.
  • Guide fit-gap analysis, process harmonization, design decisions, integration patterns, data migration strategy, reporting architecture, and control requirements.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership during blueprinting, build, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization phases.
  • Ensure architecture decisions support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, financial controls, data quality, performance, resiliency, and operational supportability.
  • Manage architecture governance, design reviews, decision logs, risks, dependencies, and escalation of cross-functional issues.
  • Mentor architects, analysts, and technical teams while helping business stakeholders understand architecture trade-offs in clear, non-technical language.

  • Effective leadership across cross-functional teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Decision-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Focus on business value, operational efficiency, compliance, and long-term solution sustainability.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or SAP certification preferred.

Experience:
  • 10-12 years of progressive IT experience, including significant experience in SAP finance architecture, solution design, and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO, financial accounting, controlling, reporting, integrations, and data migration concepts.
  • Experience supporting large-scale finance or ERP transformation programs from strategy and design through implementation and stabilization.
  • Ability to work closely with Finance and Accounting leaders to modernize processes, simplify legacy designs, and enable future-state operating models.
  • Proven experience collaborating with system integrators, vendors, business process owners, architecture review boards, cybersecurity teams, and infrastructure teams.
