Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Application Support Engineer (L1 L3) to support critical production systems in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on application-level support (not infrastructure) and requires strong SQL expertise, backend knowledge, and excellent troubleshooting skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 L3 production application support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with detailed RCA
  • Write and analyze complex SQL queries for data investigation
  • Debug and make minor backend code fixes when needed
  • Monitor application performance and system health
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors

Required Skills

  • Advanced SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries, optimization)
  • Strong experience in Application/Production Support (L1 L3)
  • Backend development knowledge: .NET/C# (preferred), Java or Python
  • Database experience: MySQL / PostgreSQL
  • Query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and RCA skills
  • Experience with Splunk, Grafana or similar monitoring tools
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow (ticketing tools)
  • Understanding of microservices & distributed systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Additional Skills

  • Experience with ERP, Supply Chain, or Order Management applications
  • Exposure to multiple databases (MS SQL Server, ClickHouse)
  • Basic frontend understanding (Angular or similar)
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong log analysis and system monitoring skills
  • Ability to identify patterns and proactively prevent issues
