Mode of Job: 3-4 days work from office in a week

Rate: $68/hr on Corp to Corp Max
Location: Dallas, TX
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Technical Project Manager with 15+ years of IT experience to lead end-to-end SAP HANA/S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and technical transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of SAP technical expertise, project leadership, requirements management, solution coordination, technical troubleshooting, and stakeholder management. The candidate should be capable of working closely with business stakeholders while providing technical direction to SAP engineering and implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP HANA/S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams.
- Drive project planning, estimation, resource allocation, milestones, dependencies, and delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams covering SAP HANA, Basis, ABAP, functional, integration, infrastructure, security, data migration, and testing.
- Provide technical leadership and support for solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decisions.
- Drive data migration, system migration, integrations, testing, cutover, deployment, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Review technical designs, implementation approaches, estimates, and project deliverables.
- Manage technical risks, issues, dependencies, defects, and change requests.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for HANA database, performance, integration, data, and application-related issues.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, performance testing, cutover rehearsals, production deployment, and stabilization.
- Work directly with business users to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Coordinate with SAP, system integrators, vendors, infrastructure teams, and onshore/offshore delivery teams.
- Provide regular project status, technical updates, RAID reporting, and executive-level communication.
Must-Have Skills
- 15+ years of IT experience with strong SAP experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA and/or S/4HANA.
- Proven experience leading SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, database concepts, Basis, ABAP, integrations, and data migration.
- Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion is highly preferred.
- Strong requirements gathering and business-to-technical translation skills.
- Experience managing SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and production support/hypercare.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing global onshore/offshore technical teams.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- SAP Activate methodology.
- SAP BTP / Integration Suite / CPI.
- SAP Fiori / UI5.
- SAP BW/4HANA.
- HANA performance tuning and optimization.
- SAP RISE / cloud migration experience.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, and RFC integrations.
- PMP and/or SAP certification.
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on technical leader who can own the project from requirements solution design implementation/migration testing cutover go-live production stabilization, while effectively managing business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
