  • Plan and manage scalable, redundant, and high-capacity network architectures
  • Design and operate deterministic test networks with IEEE-1588 PTP and NTP synchronization
  • Troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and timing issues affecting telemetry and control systems
  • Engineer and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure
  • Implement backup, recovery, and infrastructure lifecycle management strategies
  • Develop automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve provisioning and test readiness
  • Support CI/CD integration and collaborate with Test and Automation Engineering teams during live operations
  • Ensure infrastructure security, segmentation, compliance, and alignment with zero-trust and enterprise IT standards

Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong networking expertise including switching, routing, VLANs, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting time-synchronized systems (PTP/NTP)
  • Experience designing physical infrastructure and facility network deployments
  • Administration experience with Linux and Windows systems
  • Cisco or equivalent enterprise networking experience

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years' experience supporting infrastructure or test engineering environments
  • Aerospace, manufacturing, or propulsion test environment experience
  • Deterministic or time-sensitive networking experience
  • Virtualization and hybrid cloud integration experience
  • Infrastructure automation experience
  • Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments

Operational Expectations

  • Onsite role embedded within test facilities
  • Leadership during infrastructure deployment and active testing operations
  • Work performed in laboratory, datacenter, and industrial environments
