Summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking Senior Network Engineers in Orange County California.. Hybrid must live in the Orange County Area. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position.
Work Schedule- Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm
Salary Range $75.00- $85.00 per hour.
Hybrid- Approximately 3 days on site (flexible)
Travel: Open to light travel to LA and AZ. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor s Degree and six to eight years of experience in network, security, telecom or IT systems development.
Equivalent experience level may offset educational requirement.
Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of moderately complex systems, including experience with EIGRP, F5, Palo Alto, Avaya, Genesis, Cisco, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, VPN, IDS, IPS, TACACS, RSA.
Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, MCSE or security certifications preferred.
Strong understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts including emerging software defined networks and CCaaS systems.
Solid understanding the principles of routing, firewalls and phone system configurations and programming.
Expert knowledge of networking, security protocols, telecommunications systems and deployments.
Knowledge of writing technical documents, configuration drawings, network management tools and networking technology
Ability to determine whether a particular problem is caused by hardware, operating systems software, application programs, or network failures.
Good knowledge of data security and encryption
Other duties as assigned
