ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an MCS Quality Control Associate for a 6+ month contract position with a biotechnology company. This is an on-site position located in Thousand Oaks, CA. Summary: This role is for a night shift, 2 PM - 10 PM, Monday - Friday, with planned holiday and weekend flexibility required.
Responsibilities: - Perform routine laboratory procedures and analytical testing.
- Execute protocols and perform assay transfer/validation and equipment qualification/verification.
- Document, compute, compile, interpret, and enter data using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.
- Maintain and operate specialized laboratory equipment.
- Evaluate lab practices for compliance and operational excellence improvement on a continuous basis.
- Initiate and/or implement changes in controlled documents.
- Learn and comply with safety guidelines and cGMPs/CFRs.
Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bioscience, or a related field.
- Alternatively, a High school diploma/GED with 2 years of work/military experience OR an Associate's degree with 6 months of work/military experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong attention to detail.
- Experience in collaboration within and across functional areas.

Desired skills: - Experience with GMP and HPLC.
- Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements, written procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to organize work, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
Pay range: up to $30.35 per hour
