Our client is seeking a Lead Technical Project Manager in Plano, TX

Role Description

The Planning and Enablement division of our Global Technology - Workplace Technology group is a team of project managers who love managing technology infrastructure projects as much as you do. Together, you will use a disciplined, innovative and a business focused approach to manage and deliver a wide variety of highly impactful projects for the business. You will work in a stable, resilient, and secure operating environment where you-and the projects you deliver-will thrive.

Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
Management of a team of project stakeholders and workstream leads responsible for all aspects of technology project lifecycle, including:
Scope development and management.
Requirements gathering and documentation.
Design of project solution in adherence with GT EP and WT standards.
Creation and management of project schedule in Microsoft Project or other project management application.
Financial budget creation and tracking.
Risk and issue management.
Change management.
Regular project status reporting.
Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project momentum
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Oversee and coordinate the install, commissioning, testing and delivery efforts of the technology components associated with corporate office buildouts and refresh projects; including telecom, structured cabling, network infrastructure, AV and end-user technology deployments
Partner with cross-functional teams and service delivery managers, including internal IT (desktop, Wi-Fi, networking) and external vendors and partners (security, global real estate)
Manage project tracking and reporting using ServiceNow SPM or similar tools
Support multiple concurrent projects within an active portfolio, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met

Skill Requirements

Hands-on experience with AI tools and technologies is required, including the ability to apply AI-driven solutions to improve project delivery, efficiency, and decision-making
Demonstrated track record of integrating AI capabilities into project management or technology solutions, including driving adoption, identifying use cases, and delivering measurable business impact through AI-enabled initiatives.
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical project & program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products, and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
Proven history of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills across functions and teams, up and down the chain of command
Partners with key stakeholders to identify project inter-dependencies that may influence project success
8-10 years of experience in technology project or program management, ideally within corporate office buildouts, refreshes, or infrastructure deployments
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including circuits, PoE, and enterprise office technology environments
Experience coordinating across telecom providers, construction vendors, and internal IT teams
Proficiency with project tracking tools (ServiceNow SPM preferred)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to confidently engage with business and technical teams
Flexibility to travel and adjust working hours based on project requirements
Ability to manage several projects, ranging from small to large, at the same time
Basic understanding of AI concepts and fundamentals.
Ability to effectively prompt and leverage AI tools.
Familiarity with large language models (LLMs).
Interest in using AI to improve project management processes.
