Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives across financial services and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong project and program management experience along with a solid understanding of cloud technologies, data engineering, APIs, application integration, and modern technology platforms.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, architects, developers, data teams, and senior leadership to ensure successful delivery of projects from planning through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technology projects from initiation through implementation and closure.

  • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, RAID logs, and status reports.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, technology, infrastructure, security, data, and application teams.

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, BRDs, process flows, and project objectives.

  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource allocation.

  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, JAD sessions, stakeholder meetings, and executive reviews.

  • Coordinate API-based integrations and enterprise application modernization initiatives.

  • Work with technical teams on cloud, data engineering, ETL, microservices, APIs, and data warehouse initiatives.

  • Support data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and data governance activities.

  • Coordinate implementation of third-party/COTS products and vendor integrations.

  • Partner with Information Security, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and other business functions.

  • Track project deliverables, testing activities, UAT, Go/No-Go decisions, releases, and production implementation.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly executive-level project status reports.

  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliverables across multiple technology partners.

  • Ensure projects follow organizational governance, security, compliance, and architectural standards.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management / Program Management / Technology Project Management.

  • Strong experience managing complex enterprise technology projects.

  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or SAFe methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, and MS Excel.

  • Understanding of APIs, Web Services, Microservices, and application integration.

  • Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform cloud environments.

  • Understanding of Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, and Data Analytics.

  • Experience working with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or similar data platforms.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience working with technical teams and translating business requirements into technology deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification.

  • SAFe Agilist / Scrum Master certification.

  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Investment Banking, Risk, Payments, Fraud, AML, or Compliance.

  • Experience managing large-scale programs with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with regulatory, security, governance, and compliance initiatives.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
