Description

Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Business Process Engineer to collaborate with the Government to assess current operations and business processes through examination of the organization's mission, strategic goals, and customer needs. In this role, the individual will analyze activities beginning at the strategic level and progressing through the stakeholder organization to ensure alignment with operational objectives. The position involves facilitating Business Process Reengineering efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness across organizational functions. The individual will engage stakeholder organizations to fully define processes, business rules, and relationships that drive operations. This role supports informed decision-making by ensuring business processes are clearly documented and aligned with mission outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to assist in defining and documenting a capability delivery roadmap that details functionality and sequencing from Initial Operating Capability through Final Operating Capability.
  • Must possess the ability to assist in defining and documenting configuration requirements, business rules, functional requirements, and system requirements.
  • Must be capable of leveraging industry best practices to plan, organize, and guide complex programs using Commercial Off-the-Shelf tools.
  • Must have the ability to provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and other forms of knowledge transfer, and to serve as a key coordinator among multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Must possess the ability to assist in defining and documenting data modeling requirements, including system data generated internally and data sourced externally from legacy Systems of Record.
  • Must be capable of making recommendations for Standard Operating Procedures across multiple organizations throughout the Government enterprise.
  • Must have the ability to apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to conduct process modernization projects, including performing activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements.
  • Must have ten years of experience conducting Business Process Engineering activities and five years of experience utilizing process improvement methodologies for Commercial Off-the-Shelf integration programs, or fourteen years of Business Process Engineering experience and five years of process improvement experience if no bachelor's degree is held.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Security, a business discipline, or equivalent from an accredited college or university, or four additional years of Business Process Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Salary Range: A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
