What will your day look like?
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will:
• Lead requirements gathering efforts and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications
• Create, refine, and maintain user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Document business processes, workflows, functional requirements, and system behavior
• Partner with stakeholders, product teams, technical teams, and external vendors to support solution design and implementation efforts
• Participate in design sessions to ensure business requirements are accurately represented in system configurations and integrations
• Develop test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases aligned with business requirements and user stories
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, regression testing, and functional testing activities
• Validate system functionality, business processes, integrations, data flows, and edge-case scenarios
• Track, document, and manage defects through resolution and retesting activities
• Support business users throughout testing cycles by preparing test scenarios, facilitating test execution, and gathering feedback
• Help ensure traceability between requirements, user stories, test cases, and delivered functionality
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups
• Support integration validation, data mapping, and data migration testing activities
• Maintain project documentation, process maps, test artifacts, and project records
• Assist with operational readiness, training preparation, implementation support, and go-live activities
You will be a good fit for this role if you have:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements
• Experience creating and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agile project artifacts
• Demonstrated expertise in test planning, test execution, defect management, and functional validation
• Experience supporting system implementation, migration, or business transformation initiatives
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners
• Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience participating in Agile projects and working within Agile delivery frameworks
• Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Availability during standard Eastern Time business hours

• Experience supporting CRM implementations, migrations, or modernization initiatives
• Experience working with membership-based, subscription-based, or customer-focused organizations
• Familiarity with marketing automation, customer engagement, or email marketing platforms
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data migration concepts
• Experience supporting product-centric organizations and delivery teams
• Background in operational readiness, training support, or change management initiatives
• Experience validating complex integrations and cross-system business processes
