Job Title
Project Lead – Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) | Snowflake & Power BI| SAP
Role Summary
The Project Lead – EDW is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of enterprise data warehouse
and BI reporting initiatives using SAP-Snowflake and Power BI
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Delivery Leadership
• Lead BI initiatives from Business Blue Printing through production rollout
• Own project planning, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines
• Track risks, issues, and mitigation plans; escalate as needed
• Coordinate across Data Engineering, Snowflake, SAP, Cloud Application, and Infrastructure teams
2. Stakeholder & Business Engagement
• Partner with business leaders (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations)
• Lead requirements for workshops
• Present status updates, demos, and executive summaries
3. Data Reporting Architecture & Data Strategy
• Drive design leveraging Snowflake best practices:
o Fact and dimension modeling
o Snapshot and historical data strategies
o Performance and cost optimization
• Ensure alignment between source systems and Snowflake data models
4. BI & Reporting Oversight (Power BI)
• Lead delivery of dashboards, reports, and semantic models in Power BI
• Ensure:
o Consistent KPI definitions and business logic
o Reusable measures and datasets
o Intuitive UX and performance standards
• Enforce reporting governance
5. Data Quality, Validation & Reconciliation
• Define data validation and reconciliation strategies
• Oversee UAT execution and defect resolution
• Ensure Snowflake and Power BI outputs reconcile with source systems
• Own business sign-off prior to production releases

6. Cutover, Release & BAU Transition
• Lead cutover planning including:
o Historical data loads
o Parallel runs
o Refresh and scheduling strategy
• Coordinate production deployments and rollback plans
• Ensure smooth handover to support / BAU teams
7. Governance, Security & Compliance
• Define and enforce:
o Data access controls and role-based security
o Workspace and dataset governance
• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and internal controls
8. Team Leadership
• Lead onshore/offshore data engineering and BI teams
• Ensure delivery quality and adherence to standards

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake EDW
• Strong Power BI experience (datasets, DAX, performance optimization)
• Solid understanding of:
o Dimensional modeling (facts, dimensions, snapshots)
o SQL and data transformations
o Data reconciliation and validation techniques

Functional & Leadership Skills
• 12+ years in Data, Analytics, or BI delivery roles
• Proven experience leading EDW / BI programs
• Strong stakeholder communication and executive presence
• Ability to manage cross-functional and distributed teams
• Experience with Agile / Hybrid delivery
