The Enterprise Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting collected data, identifying trends, creating reports, dashboards, scorecards, and tailored datasets for self-service reporting. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide recommendations by leveraging data modeling to support informed business decisions. Works cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., finance and engineering) to support data, reporting needs, identify and address data gaps. Leverages company AI tools to model and forecast data to establish consistent business language definitions and metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops analytical content to include reports, dashboards, semantic models, and datasets by utilizing business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Databricks, etc.). Supports end-user adoption of reporting through documentation and guidance.
  • Writes SQL-based solutions and leverages AI tools to support the company’s reporting requirements by utilizing the company data platform.
  • Collaborates with the Finance team to conduct data analysis, fulfill data requests, and provide insights on company performance to enhance and refine processes and deliverables. Creates new features into existing report packages to improve deliverables.
  • Ensures data accuracy by identifying issues, correcting metric definitions, and validating results before reporting

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, business management, business analytics, data science and/or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working in business intelligence, analytics, financial reporting, and/or a related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in requirements gathering and business analysis techniques required, including a strong understanding of the business intelligence (BI) development life cycle, conducting stakeholder interviews, and translating business needs into BI solutions.
  • Experience in financial modeling preferred.
  • Intermediate experience querying relational databases and data warehouses (e.g., SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience required, including writing and using advanced functions and formulas (e.g., lookup and reference, nested logical expressions, aggregation, etc.) as well as advanced Excel features (e.g., conditional formatting, data validation, pivot tables, external data connections).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business analysis skills and technical aptitude.
  • Strong understanding of finance concepts.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $91,597.00 to $114,496.00 Annually. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus.
