Location: Houston, TX (Remote)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced ServiceNow Testing & Release Manager to lead the end-to-end testing strategy and release management lifecycle for the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, stable, and compliant deployments across multiple ServiceNow modules in a complex healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of QA leadership, release governance, and ServiceNow expertise, ensuring seamless coordination between development, operations, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the ServiceNow release lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and deployment
Define and implement testing strategy, frameworks, and best practices across the platform
Lead all phases of testing:

Functional testing
Integration testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Regression testing

Coordinate releases across multiple teams, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Establish and enforce release governance, controls, and documentation standards
Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
Manage defect tracking, triage, and resolution processes
Oversee and optimize automated testing tools (e.g., ATF Automated Test Framework)
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and healthcare standards (HIPAA)
Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency and release quality
Communicate release readiness, risks, and timelines to leadership

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in QA, Testing, or Release Management
4+ years of experience working with ServiceNow platform
Strong experience with:

ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
Release management processes and tools
Agile and/or SAFe delivery environments

Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stream releases
Experience with defect management tools and QA methodologies
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow certifications:

Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

Experience in healthcare environments
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (EHR, ERP, cloud platforms)
