Client is seeking a hands-on IT Support / Field Engineer to support client environments across North Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT infrastructure, desktop support, and network administration who enjoys troubleshooting issues and working directly with end users in a hybrid consulting environment.
The position will involve a mix of remote technical support and onsite client visits, assisting with infrastructure support, virtualization environments, and end-user systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, servers, and network infrastructure
Support virtualized environments including VMware and Citrix
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Provide end-user support for desktop operating systems and applications
Assist with network administration and system maintenance
Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve IT issues efficiently
Travel onsite to North Jersey client locations when required
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in IT services, managed services, or IT consulting environments
Strong troubleshooting experience with PCs, servers, and networking systems
Experience supporting VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft environments
Experience supporting desktop operating systems and end users
Comfortable working in a hybrid/field-based support role
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar networking certifications
Additional Requirements
Must be located within commutable distance of Parsippany, NJ
Must be comfortable with occasional onsite client work in North Jersey
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Strong communication skills and English proficiency
