Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer with strong expertise in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Informatica PowerCenter workflows and mappings while working closely with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop complex Mappings, Mapplets, Transformations, Workflows, and Worklets.
• Extract data from multiple sources including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and integration based on business requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Work with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or other relational databases.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows and resolve production issues.
• Perform performance tuning and optimize Informatica mappings and workflows.
• Implement error handling, logging, restart/recovery mechanisms, and data validation processes.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with business analysts, data architects, QA teams, and other developers.
• Support production deployments and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data flows.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies and organizational coding standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong experience with Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, and Repository Manager.
• Expertise in developing complex Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, and Transformations.
• Strong SQL development and database experience.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or similar databases.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting Informatica workflows.
• Good understanding of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter Administration.
• Knowledge of Informatica Metadata Manager or related Informatica tools.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar.
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and master data management concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
