The State of Wisconsin is looking for one (1) OnBase Administrator/Developer III Must be WI resident or willing to relocate WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM DESIGNATED START DATE. Hybrid. Project Details (project overview, who the contractor will work with, soft skills needed, etc.): OCI Information Technology (OCI IT) supports and manages the OnBase solution for the benefit of OCI. OCI IT is looking for an additional experienced OnBase Contractor to support, maintain, and develop additional functionality with OnBase. Responsibilities include but are not limited to user support and triage of issues, and timely resolution of assigned tickets, identifying patterns of tickets to isolate true root cause and propose solutions and/or changes, suggesting, and demonstrating, conceptual designs to improve the user experience, etc. The State of Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) was created by the legislature in 1870, vested with broad powers to ensure that the insurance industry responsibly and adequately met the insurance needs of Wisconsin citizens. In 2019, OCI implemented a solution using OnBase by Hyland to support the following: A web-based filing portal, to allow insurers to file various documents electronically into OnBase, greatly reducing the efforts formerly required to handle paper filings. · Generation and editing of associated documents generated by OCI. · Business process workflow, collecting the dates of work and transactions within the office. · Automating the review of documents and approvals of requests, and · Reminding staff to complete tasks in a timely manner. OCI Information Technology (OCI IT) supports and manages the OnBase solution for the benefit of OCI. OCI IT is looking for an additional experienced OnBase Contractor to support, maintain, and develop additional functionality with OnBase. Example Responsibilities: · User support and triage of issues, and timely resolution of assigned tickets · Identifying patterns of tickets to isolate true root cause and propose solutions and/or changes · Understanding business requirements to achieve OCI’s desired outcomes, while adhering to agency policies and procedures · Suggesting, and demonstrating, conceptual designs to improve the user experience · High quality module configuration and design using low-to-no-code approach, with minimal oversight · Communication of important updates and/or necessary changes to Management, where appropriate · Recommendation for design improvements to existing solutions · Standard development environment requirements, to include documentation and task tracking · Support for other OCI IT team initiatives as needed Experience: REQUIRED | STRONGLY DESIRED | · Completed or recently renewed OnBase Certified Workview Developer (OCWV) (Hyland Certified OnBase WorkView Administrator) certification, within the past 4 years · Building OnBase low-to-no code solutions, following Hyland best practices and design methodology: o Workview standalone applications o Workflow standalone lifecycles o Workflow/Workview combined solutions o Document Composition templates · Design thinking – determine and work toward an outcome, not just following a list of steps · Troubleshooting pre-existing OnBase solutions with minimal existing documentation · Creating and editing business processes and technical documentation · Working directly with business users to resolve production issues timely and correctly · Strong communication skills, including verbal (phone/video) and written (email) · Strong analytical, organizational, and task management skills · Desire and ability to actively participate in business requirements gathering sessions and technical reviews | · State and/or Local Government work history · Any CompTIA certifications · Windows Server administration experience · IT Service Management (ITIL) certification · Jira experience (user/and or developer) · Agile and Waterfall SDLC (and the ability to determine the best approach given a business need) · Records Retention (the process in general, how it works) · OnBase Reporting Dashboards experience · Microsoft Visio experience · Microsoft SharePoint experience · Database reporting experience |
