REQUIRED SKILLS: (Need All)

  • OnBase Certified Workview Developer (OCWV; recent)
  • Hyland Certified OnBase WorkView Administrator certification (within past 4 years)
  • Building OnBase low-to-no code solutions following Hyland best practices (5+ years), including:
    • Workview standalone applications
    • Workflow standalone lifecycles
    • Combined Workflow/Workview solutions
    • Document Composition templates
  • Troubleshooting pre-existing OnBase solutions with minimal documentation (5+ years)
  • Working directly with business users to resolve production issues accurately and efficiently (5+ years)

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • State and/or local government experience
  • IT Service Management (ITIL) certification
  • Any CompTIA certifications
  • Windows Server administration experience
  • Jira experience (user and/or developer)
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

The State of Wisconsin is seeking an experienced OnBase Administrator/Developer III to support, maintain, and enhance its OnBase platform. The role sits within OCI Information Technology, which manages the OnBase solution supporting business operations for the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance.

OCI implemented OnBase in 2019 to enable a web-based filing portal, automate document workflows, support document generation, and streamline approvals and task management across the agency.

The selected contractor will work closely with business users and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system functionality, and deliver enhancements aligned with business needs and Hyland best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

·       Providing user support and triaging issues, ensuring timely resolution of assigned tickets

·       Identifying patterns across incidents to determine root causes and propose solutions

·       Supporting and enhancing OnBase functionality, including development of new features

·       Designing and configuring modules using low-to-no-code approaches

·       Collaborating with business users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions

·       Suggesting and demonstrating conceptual designs to improve user experience

·       Communicating updates and recommendations to management

·       Maintaining documentation and adhering to development environment standards

·       Supporting additional OCI IT initiatives as needed

The role requires strong design thinking—focusing on outcomes rather than simply executing predefined steps—and the ability to operate effectively with limited documentation.
