Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Manager (8–10 years’ experience) to lead our Data & Analytics team, with a specialized focus on Microsoft Fabric, Real-time Analytics, and advanced Power BI solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical hands-on expertise in Microsoft’s unified analytics ecosystem with strong leadership capabilities to mentor engineers, define architecture, and deliver high-velocity data projects.
Core Responsibilities (8-10 Yrs Experience - Leadership Focus)
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions, modernizing legacy systems to Microsoft Fabric.
- Technical Management: Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and developers, overseeing code reviews, technical designs, and performance optimization.
- Real-time Strategy: Drive the strategy for ingestion, transformation, and storage of real-time telemetry and streaming data using Fabric Eventstreams and Eventhouses.
- Data Governance & DevOps: Establish CI/CD frameworks, Git integration, security policies, and workspace governance (RLS/OLS) in Fabric/OneLake.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable analytics solutions using Direct Lake mode.
Technical Skills Required (4+ Years in Specific Tech Stack)
- MS Fabric Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory (pipelines), Dataflows Gen2, and OneLake architecture.
- Real-time Data Handling: Expertise in using Fabric Real-Time Intelligence (Eventstream, Eventhouse) to analyze streaming data and act on data in motion.
- KQL (Kusto Query Language): Proficient in writing complex KQL queries for real-time dashboards and monitoring event-driven data.
- Advanced SQL: Expert-level T-SQL skills for data modeling, stored procedures, and optimization in Fabric Warehouse.
- Advanced Power BI: Deep expertise in DAX, semantic modeling, and report creation, specifically leveraging Fabric Real-time Dashboards.
- Data Transformation: Experience with Spark SQL/Notebooks or Python for complex ETL/ELT within Fabric.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Technical Lead in a consulting or product organization.
