Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to support Enterprise Capital Management Technology within Corporate Treasury. The role will contribute to a greenfield technology transformation that replaces legacy treasury applications and enables generalized capabilities for data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics. Work will align to critical regulatory programs including Basel IV and FRTB.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data ingestion, rules, and analytics solutions for capital management initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and functional analysts to translate regulatory and risk requirements into technical deliverables.
- Develop and optimize SQL for large-scale datasets on platforms such as Oracle Exadata.
- Contribute code and solution components in Python or Java/.NET as part of a delivery-focused, techno-functional team.
- Ensure solution quality, address risks and issues, and recommend process or design improvements.
- Support reporting and analytics needs, including running and validating MicroStrategy reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of technology experience with at least 3+ years in a business analyst or functional analyst capacity.
- Proven delivery in a techno-functional role within capital markets or treasury domains.
- Strong SQL programming skills, preferably on Oracle Exadata or similar platforms.
- Programming experience with Python or Java/.NET.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and self-direction.
- Deep understanding of capital markets with focus on credit risk, market risk, or capital calculations.
- Knowledge of regulations such as Basel, CRR, and CRD IV.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Python code review and ability to read and understand scripts.
- Experience running or validating reports in MicroStrategy.
- Knowledge of big data architectures, Hadoop ecosystems, and cloud computing.
- Exposure to machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across business and technology teams.
