Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Onsite)Employment Type: ContractContract Duration: 12 MonthsRole Overview
This position supports the Enterprise Capital Management Technology function within Corporate Treasury. The role is part of a technology transformation journey to build and adopt general capabilities for data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics. This is a greenfield project that requires meticulous design to replace multiple legacy applications and will house critical regulatory programs such as Basel IV and FRTB.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve in a delivery-focused, techno-functional role to support capital management technology initiatives.
- Design and implement solutions for data ingestion, rules execution, and analytics.
- Contribute to the replacement of legacy applications within Treasury Technology.
- Ensure solutions comply with critical regulations, including Basel IV and FRTB.
- Identify risks and issues, and suggest improvements to processes and systems.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
Technical Skills: Good knowledge of SQL programming, preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata. Programming experience with Python or Java/.Net is required.
Domain Knowledge: A deep understanding of Capital Markets with a focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations. Understanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (e.g., Basel, CRR, CRD IV) is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand Python code and run reports in MicroStrategy.
- Knowledge of Big Data Architectures, Cloud computing, and Spark.
- Familiarity with machine-learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
