Telecom Specialist (Circuit Management/Product) --
Owning/managing the delivery of circuits across org/stores, overseeing Site Installation Services and Engineering coordination. Hands-on experience ordering and turning down telecom circuits, direct carrier-facing experience (AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, etc.), ownership of telecom inventory, and very strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivots, large datasets
Project Description In the role of Telecom, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of circuits to our data centers, retail, and corporate locations worldwide. You will work with lead engineers, project managers, and leadership to deliver connectivity optimal for computing at each location. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of circuits throughout the organization, helping our organization minimize cost and maximizing performance, seeking out opportunities to improve throughout contract cycles. You will work directly with Site Installation Services and Engineering to coordinate timely installations.
Duties/Day to Day Overview • For project of diverse scope and complexity
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs
• Develops high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications
• Prepares requirements, specifications, business process, and recommendations
• Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
• Resolves a wide range of issues in innovative and practical ways
• Strong knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology
• Understands basic project management methodology
• Customer focused with high quality standards
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, business communication and writing skills

Top Requirements
(Must haves)
• Experience with ordering circuits, turning down the circuits working w/ vendors, etc. (MUST HAVE CIRCUIT LEVEL EXP)
• Managing inventory
• Very strong with Excel - not negotiable
• Experience with queries for large databases
• Being able to work with large amounts of data
• Must be able to provide data on cost and how much things are costing the company to leadership
• Access database experience
• This person will be working with telecom carriers for provisioning
• Experience with Carriers such as: AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast are a HUGE plus
• Soft Skills are EXTREMELY important
