YouTube Publisher & SEO Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a YouTube Publisher & SEO Specialist in Redmond, WA.

Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented YouTube Publisher and SEO Specialist to support day to day operations across our YouTube channels. This role is responsible for managing the publishing workflow end to end-from intake and quality checks to scheduling and optimization-ensuring content is published accurately, on time, and aligned with channel standards.

This is an execution focused role ideal for someone who enjoys operational rigor, cross functional coordination, and working inside complex content pipelines. They understand how content gets discovered on YouTube-what's searched, what surfaces, and what earns the click.

Responsibilities:
YouTube Publishing & Operations
* Manage the end to end YouTube publishing process, including uploads, scheduling, and timely publication of video content
* Ensure all publishing elements are completed accurately, including titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, captions, end screens, and info cards
* Oversee publishing of Community Tab posts that drive engagement with our audience, aligned to editorial plans

Intake & Workflow Management:
* Own the content intake process, coordinating with stakeholder teams to collect assets, copy, metadata, and required information
* Review and triage incoming upload requests, providing first pass filtering and flagging content that does not meet quality, technical, or channel fit standards
* Maintain clear timelines and communicate publishing requirements and deadlines to partners

Editorial & Scheduling Support:
* Support editorial planning by maintaining publishing schedules and aligning uploads to approved editorial calendars
* Coordinate closely with channel owners to ensure consistency in cadence and prioritization across channels

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience managing a YouTube channel, from copywriting to YouTube uploads, scheduling, metadata, and optimization using YouTube Studio
* Strong expertise in YouTube SEO, including keyword research, competitive analysis, and optimization of titles, descriptions, tags, and chapters for search and discovery
* Deep understanding of how YouTube search, suggested, and browse surfaces impact content performance and packaging decisions
* Strong organizational and project management skills; comfortable working with project management software and structured workflows
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously
* Clear communicator with experience collaborating across content, marketing, creative, and strategy teams
* Familiarity with accessibility requirements (e.g., captions) and platform best practices
* Comfort working in fast moving, multi stakeholder environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
