Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on ADP Technical Architect with strong expertise in ADP ASP exports, payroll reporting, and system configuration. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable payroll data delivery to downstream finance, accounting, and operational teams.

This position plays a critical role during a period of modernization, supporting the transition from legacy payroll systems to ADP while maintaining data integrity, reporting continuity, and operational stability.

The ideal candidate combines deep payroll knowledge with strong technical configuration skills and the ability to translate business needs into dependable ADP outputs.


Key Responsibilities

ADP ASP Exports & Data Delivery

  • Design, configure, and maintain ADP ASP exports to support payroll, finance, accounting, and operational reporting
  • Manage export schedules, file layouts, delivery mechanisms, and control totals
  • Ensure exported data is accurate, complete, and reconcilable for downstream consumption
  • Troubleshoot export failures, data discrepancies, and timing issues

Reporting & Data Visibility

  • Configure and support standard and custom ADP reports (payroll, tax, earnings, deductions, employee data)
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Accounting teams to understand reporting requirements
  • Ensure reporting supports audit, compliance, reconciliation, and operational decision-making
  • Replicate or improve legacy payroll reports within ADP

Payroll Configuration & Data Integrity

  • Configure and maintain payroll components including:
  •  
  • Earnings and deductions
  • Pay groups and pay calendars
  • Tax setup and compliance elements
  • Costing and general ledger outputs
  • Support payroll changes driven by business rules, regulatory updates, or operational needs
  • Identify and resolve configuration gaps and data quality issues impacting payroll accuracy

Documentation & Advisory

  • Document export logic, report definitions, data structures, and configuration decisions
  • Act as a functional–technical advisor to HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on best practices for ADP configuration, reporting, and payroll data delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with ADP payroll platforms, with a focus on ASP exports, reporting, and configuration
  • Proven experience supporting payroll data delivery to downstream systems or business teams
  • Deep understanding of payroll processing, controls, and reconciliation
  • Experience configuring earnings, deductions, taxes, pay groups, and payroll calendars
  • Ability to translate business reporting and payroll requirements into structured ADP outputs
