Job Title: SAP Field Service Management (FSM) Consultant
Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Field Service Management (FSM) Consultant to support and stabilize a critical FSM environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving operational issues, troubleshooting integration connectors, and improving overall application performance.
The consultant will work closely with internal teams to address recurring issues, reduce incident backlog, and ensure the smooth operation of the FSM system. This role requires strong hands-on experience with SAP FSM operations, integration troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for SAP Field Service Management (FSM) platform
- Act as the primary point of contact for FSM-related incidents and service requests
- Troubleshoot connector failures and integration issues across systems
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring system problems
- Reduce existing incident backlog through prioritization and resolution
- Analyze and resolve application performance issues
- Recommend and implement configuration and performance improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely issue resolution
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Mentor and support junior FSM consultants through hands-on guidance
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with SAP Field Service Management (FSM)
- Expertise in connector troubleshooting and system integrations
- Experience with middleware and integration points
- Knowledge of performance tuning and application optimization in SAP FSM
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure production environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
