Job Title: Test Tech II
Location: Austin, TX
Contract: 06+ Months
Shift/hours: 4/10 - 1st (Mon-Thu), typically 5:30A-4P)
Top skills manager is looking for:
1) Seeking a candidate with at least 2 yrs experience in manufacturing testing PCB boards, troubleshooting and problem solving.
2) 4/10 2nd shift. Please confirm candidate is comfortable for that.
3) Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
4) Ability to become solder certified
5) Effective communication and teamwork
6) Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
7) Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team I need only candidates with hand soldering skills. Preferably that have J-Standard Modules 1, 3, 6 completed.
Position Description:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a client Systems facility 100% of the time.

Skills:
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Understanding of test instruments such as Oscilloscope, multi-meters, RF analyzers
Able to troubleshoot on their own to component level
Ability to read schematics, diagrams IPC-A-610, J-STD Certifications Desirable
Education Required:
Requires two (2) years of a High School or Trade School education
