Description: Our client is currently seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer 5 which needs an active top secret clearance.

Top Secret Clearance Required to Start

Position Responsibilities:

Derive and document hardware requirements from system-level specifications.

Experience with developing and defining electronic subsystems and unit-level architecture.

Ability to write SSOWs for board fabrication or other related contractual work.

Applies technical expertise when deriving and writing electronics related requirements (voltage, current, power, and signal integrity)

Design, develop, and test mixed-signal electronic circuits and systems.

Lead the design and implementation of PCB layouts and schematics.

Collaborate with software and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

Participate and Conduct design reviews (i.e. TRR, PDR, and CDR's).

Perform simulations and analyses to validate design performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during development and testing phases.

Provides mentorship and guidance for designs made by EE team

Required Skills:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

9+ years of experience with the design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems

5+ years of experience researching, developing, or evaluating electrical, electronic, computer, software and/or firmware requirements

5+ years of experience with analog and/or digital circuit design, packaging techniques, and/or power systems

3+ years of experience developing subsystem requirements

Preferred Skills:

Proficient in Mentor Graphics (Xpedition, Capital Suite...)

Proficient SiMetrix (Simulation tool for circuit analysis)

Electro-Optical and IR sensors, ensuring proper integration and functionality.

Experience with high speed, low latency electronic design.
