AS400 Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced AS/400 technical expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM iSeries, system monitoring, backup & restore, IBM I, and management. As an AS400 Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the IBM i OS infrastructure, business-critical applications, system monitoring, backup, and restore, environment upgrades, high-level troubleshooting, and managing complex technical issues to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee IBM i OS infrastructure;
• Safeguard business-critical applications;
• Monitor systems and perform backup and restore tasks;
• Conduct environment upgrades;
• Provide high-level troubleshooting support;
• Manage complex technical issues to resolution.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with IBM iSeries;
• Expertise in system monitoring, backup, and restore;
• Familiarity with IBM I;
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in system management;
• Knowledge of AS/400 infrastructure;
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
