Description
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role focuses on providing hands-on IT support, managing mobile devices, and maintaining an organized inventory system for IT assets. The position is fully onsite and requires occasional travel to nearby locations to ensure seamless device management and support.
Responsibilities:
Deliver desktop-side IT support for users in a centralized office environment.
Handle mobile device management tasks, including provisioning and decommissioning of devices.
Track, organize, and maintain inventory of IT assets such as laptops, monitors, and other equipment.
Update and manage device inventory documentation using Excel and SharePoint.
Utilize Microsoft 365 tools like OneDrive and SharePoint for efficient file storage and sharing.
Coordinate logistics for device pickup, delivery, and redistribution to off-site locations.
Travel to nearby sites to assist with device recovery, delivery, or inventory management.
Ensure devices in garages and data rooms are accurately accounted for in records.
Address technical issues and service requests using troubleshooting skills and service desk tools.
Requirements
Proficiency in Active Directory for managing user accounts and permissions.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems.
Experience with basic IT troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and processes.
Ability to use Excel for inventory tracking and data organization.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and OneDrive.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation.
Comfortable traveling to local sites for device-related tasks.
