Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and expertise in SQL, Excel, Python, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.

• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.

• Perform data analysis using Python, SQL, and advanced Excel.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs.

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets to provide actionable business insights.

• Develop automated reporting solutions to improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and quality across reporting systems.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions.

• Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and aggregations.

• Hands-on experience with Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query.

• Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of statistical concepts, data validation, and reporting methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern data platforms.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of business intelligence, predictive analytics, and data governance.

• Experience with Git, Jira, and automated reporting workflows.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting.
