Systems Administrator

Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's Apple ecosystem, including macOS and iOS devices. This role focuses on ensuring smooth deployment, system security, and providing advanced user support while leveraging tools like Jamf and Apple Business Manager. This is a Contract to permanent position located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and software updates for macOS and iOS devices across the organization.
Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python to streamline device management and system updates.
Implement and monitor security protocols, manage user permissions, and apply necessary patches to protect the Apple ecosystem.
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Ensure compatibility and seamless integration of Apple devices within a mixed IT environment, including Windows and Linux systems.
Monitor system performance, conduct regular backups, and develop plans for capacity management and disaster recovery.
Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Jamf to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot network configuration issues and manage accounts to optimize system functionality.
Collaborate with IT teams to align Apple systems with broader enterprise infrastructure requirements.

Requirements

Proficiency in managing macOS and iOS devices, including deployment and configuration.
Strong scripting skills using Bash or Python for automation and system management.
Experience with Mobile Device Management tools, such as Jamf or Apple Business Manager.
Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices for device and software protection.
Ability to provide advanced technical support at Tier 2 and Tier 3 levels.
Familiarity with integrating Apple devices into Windows and Linux environments.
Knowledge of network configuration and account management within Apple systems.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues.
