This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration of enterprise information security solutions, with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and related security technologies.
The role includes hands-on support of security systems and servers, troubleshooting technical issues, responding to internal employees and customers, and coordinating with other IT and security teams to resolve operational issues.
While DLP will be one of the primary responsibilities, this position may also support other areas of information security as business and operational needs evolve. This provides opportunities to gain broader experience across multiple security technologies and functions.
Frequent communication and coordination with Korea Headquarters is required. Therefore, professional proficiency in both Korean and English is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the operation, monitoring, and administration of DLP and other enterprise security solutions.
- Review security alerts, policy events, system issues, and operational requests.
- Assist with troubleshooting security systems and related Windows and Linux servers.
- Perform basic server administration and maintenance activities under established procedures.
- Support server upgrades, migrations, relocation, system transitions, and other infrastructure-related activities as needed.
- Work with network, infrastructure, application, help desk, and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in testing, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of new or existing security technologies.
- Coordinate with Korea Headquarters and local teams regarding operational issues, system changes, security requirements, and technical matters.
- Create and maintain work instructions, operating procedures, troubleshooting records, and other technical documentation.
- Document issues, investigation findings, actions taken, and final resolutions.
- Support security audits, compliance requests, evidence collection, and other security-related activities as needed.
- Assist with additional information security projects and operational responsibilities based on team priorities.
Qualifications
· Professional proficiency in both Korean and English, including verbal and written communication.
· Basic understanding of Information Security concepts and principles.
· Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewalls.
· Strong interest in learning and developing hands-on Information Security skills.
· Ability to troubleshoot problems by gathering information, analyzing the issue, and working with appropriate teams when additional support is needed.
· Good communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to clearly record and document technical issues, procedures, and resolutions.
· Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
· Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing operational needs.
