Summary

We are looking for SDET for our client in Chicago, IL
Job Title: SDET
Job Location: Chicago, IL
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
  • Perform quality engineering activities ensuring high quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and ensure testability.
  • Support end to end testing lifecycle including functional, integration, regression, and end to end testing.
  • Drive automation first approach in testing processes.
  • Work with test data and environment teams to ensure readiness for testing.
  • Manage test cases, execution, and reporting of results.
  • Participate in defect management and track issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to align testing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies including standups, grooming sessions, and retrospectives.
Requirements/Must Have:
  • Strong experience in quality engineering and software testing.
  • Experience in Medicare domain including provider management and claims.
  • Hands on experience with UI and database testing.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database validation.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with Python for automation.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodology, and QE practices.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in matrixed and offshore team environments.
Experience:
  • 8 plus years of experience in technology quality engineering.
  • 5 plus years of experience in Medicare domain.
  • 1 plus years of experience with Python.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery of QA deliverables.
  • Coordinate with business SMEs to understand requirements.
  • Align with QE teams on test plans, scope, and timelines.
  • Support testing across all phases and ensure completion within timelines.
  • Manage test case execution and reporting.
  • Identify and document defects and track resolution.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams for requirement clarity.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in testing practices.
Skills:
  • Test automation and quality engineering.

  • AWS cloud services.
  • Agile and SDLC methodologies.
  • Test management and defect tracking.
  • Communication and collaboration.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Agile certification is preferred.
