IT Project Manager
A large, mission-driven public sector organization is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a portfolio of active and
upcoming Networking infrastructure and InfoSec technology initiatives. These roles are critical to addressing a backlog of projects and ensuring key
programs continue moving forward efficiently.

Position Overview
Under the direction of the IT PMO, the IT Project Manager will lead and coordinate projects from initiation through delivery. This
includes managing scope, schedule, resources, and communication to ensure successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, adaptable project manager who thrives in regulated environments and is skilled at managing
stakeholders across both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple IT projects from initiation through completion, including both in-flight projects and those transitioning from backlog
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and documentation
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and executive leadership
  • Experience working on projects involving:
    • Information Security (InfoSec)
    • Networking infrastructure
    • Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives (nice to have)
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across project teams (typically 6-12+ resources)
  • Navigate structured governance processes, including compliance, approvals, and documentation requirements
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT Project Management experience (not looking for a Program Manager)
  • PMP certification (required)
  • Information Security (InfoSec) and Networking infrastructure
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with technical teams, business units, and executive leadership
  • Ability to influence and drive outcomes without formal authority

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
