Job Summary:
  • Seeking an experienced Oracle BRM Expert / Solution Architect to join our Core Engineering and Billing Platform team.
  • This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), Java Microservices, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise billing transformations.
  • The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and modernization of scalable billing, payment, subscription management, and revenue platforms.
  • The role combines solution architecture, Oracle BRM customization, integrations, cloud engineering, and AI-enabled software development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Architecture & Platform Design Design and architect enterprise Oracle BRM solutions for billing, payments, revenue management, invoicing, and subscription lifecycle management.
  • Lead billing transformation and cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Define integration architectures between Oracle BRM, CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and external systems.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance optimization, security assessments, and technology evaluations.
  • Develop solution blueprints, technical designs, and deployment strategies for cloud-native platforms.
  • Oracle BRM Development & Customization Design and develop custom BRM policy opcodes (FMs) using C/C++.
  • Build and maintain custom Data Managers (DMs) and Multi-Threaded Applications (MTAs).
  • Customize rating, billing, collections, payments, and subscription workflows.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, billing discrepancies, and financial reconciliation challenges.
  • Java Microservices & Integration Development Design and develop enterprise Java Microservices with 8+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Build scalable REST APIs and event-driven services supporting billing and customer lifecycle processes.
  • Implement modern microservices patterns including API Gateway, Service Discovery, Event Streaming, Circuit Breakers, and Distributed Transactions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deliver resilient, highly available cloud-native applications.
  • Cloud, DevOps & SDLC Participate in all SDLC phases from requirements through production deployment.
  • Design and deploy solutions on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Drive adoption of Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Lead migration efforts from legacy billing platforms to cloud-native architectures.
  • Ensure adherence to security, monitoring, governance, and operational standards.
  • AI-Enabled Engineering Practices Apply AI-assisted development techniques to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Utilize AI tools for code generation, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Promote intelligent testing, automated quality assurance, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Billing, Payments & Financial Management Architect integrations with payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, CyberSource, Adyen, and similar platforms.
  • Configure payment processing, allocations, refunds, chargebacks, suspense management, and PCI-compliant workflows.
  • Design and support rating, billing, invoicing, collections, dunning, accounts receivable, and revenue management processes.
  • Configure General Ledger mappings and financial integrations with Oracle EBS, SAP, NetSuite, and related ERP systems.
  • Support revenue recognition, financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Subscription & Product Management Manage the full subscription lifecycle, including activation, modification, renewal, suspension, and cancellation.
  • Support complex pricing models, upgrades, downgrades, discounts, and prorated billing scenarios.
  • Utilize Oracle Pricing Design Center (PDC) and Pricing Center to manage products, charge offers, promotions, and catalog governance.
Required Qualifications :
  • Experience 10+ years of overall IT experience. 5+ years of Oracle BRM architecture, development, customization, and support.
  • 8+ years of Java Microservices design and development. Experience delivering large-scale billing, payments
