PDF Remediator

Description

We are looking for a skilled PDF Remediator to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will focus on improving user experiences by creating accessible and user-friendly document designs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in UX/UI design and expertise in tools like Figma and Adobe XD.

Responsibilities:
Develop and remediate PDF documents to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and user-friendly document layouts.
Utilize tools such as Figma and Adobe XD to design and enhance user interfaces.
Conduct usability analyses and recommend improvements to optimize user experience.
Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts and workflows.
Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and user accessibility requirements.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate designs effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document usability and accessibility.
Stay updated on the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in UX/UI design with a focus on document accessibility.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and wireframing software.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines.
Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design documents.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Knowledge of usability testing practices and user-centered design principles.
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
