SAP Finance - S4hana

Job Description:

• An SAP S/4HANA Finance professional designs, configures, and implements the SAP S/4HANA Finance module.
• They act as a bridge between financial business processes and technical system architecture, utilizing the platform''s real-time analytics, central finance, and universal journal to streamline financial operations and close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Requirements: Lead business process redesign (BPR) workshops to map requirements into standard SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
• System Configuration: Configure financial and controlling (FICO) modules, including the General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and Controlling (CO).
• Advanced Features: Implement native S/4HANA capabilities like parallel/extension ledgers, Business Partners, and SAP Fiori apps.
• Data Migration: Oversee data conversion, including legacy system migration and mapping from older SAP ECC or third-party systems.
• Testing & Support: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system integration testing, and provide ongoing post-go-live production support.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure financial configurations adhere to local and global tax regulations, IFRS, or US GAAP standards

Requirements

• Experience: Typically requires 5+ to 10+ years of SAP implementation experience, with at least 2 to 3 years specifically focused on SAP S/4HANA.
• Certifications: Professional credentials such as SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting are highly preferred.
• Accounting Knowledge: A solid foundational understanding of corporate accounting, taxation, and financial closing procedures.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior finance executives.
