We are currently seeking a Senior SAS Viya Migration Led to join our Analytics Modernization Practice in Charlotte, NC

Hit the ground running role designed for a technical authority who had moved beyond legacy SAS 9.x environments and mastered the cloud native world of SAS Viya 4. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end migration strategy for large-scale enterprises clients in the BFSI and Healthcare sectors.

The mission

You will serve as the bridge between legacy SAS estate owners and the Viya target state platform team. This involves auditing thousands of Base SAS programs, DI Studio jobs and SAS Grid configurations to reengineer them into CAS optimized cloud native workflow on Viya 4.

Core Responsibilities

• Migration Strategy: Lead assessments using SAS Migration Utility (SMU) to classify code complexity and define wave-based migration runbooks.
• Code Re Engineering: Convert Base SAS, PROC SQL and complex macros into CASL and CAS action sets.
• Pipeline Modernization: Transform SAS DI Studio jobs into SAS Data Studio pipelines and migrate Grid workloads to Viya s Job Execution Service.
• Post Migration Config: Replicate data governance rules in caslibs, manage environment promotion via Viya CLI, and lead parallel run validation to ensure 100% data integrity.
• MLOps Transition: Migrate legacy Enterprise Miner models into SAS Model Manager and Model Studio on Viya.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ Years of SAS Ecosystem Mastery: Deep expertise in Base SAS, Macro (autocall libraries, SYSFUNC) and DI Studio within enterprise environments.
• 3+ Years Migration Specifics: Proven track record of executing SAS 9.4 to Viya 3.5/4 migrations.
• Viya Proficiency: Hands on with CAS programming, SAS Studio and understanding of Viya on Kubernetes architecture.
• Modern Integration: Experience with cloud stores (Snowflake, ADLS Gen2) and Python Integration (SASPy/SWAT).
