Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join a FinTech team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on programming experience across Java, Full Stack Development, Cloud technologies, and Python.
This is a full-time position requiring candidates with at least 5 years of actual professional development experience. Internship, training, academic, or non-production experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Develop robust backend services and APIs using Java.
- Build and enhance frontend applications as part of full-stack development.
- Develop and integrate cloud-based applications and services.
- Use Python for application development, automation, scripting, or supporting services.
- Participate in debugging, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow secure coding, testing, and software development best practices.
- Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle from design through production deployment.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional, full-time software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java.
- Strong Full Stack Development experience.
- Experience with Cloud technologies/platforms.
- Strong programming experience with Python.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of software development, debugging, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- FinTech, banking, financial services, or payments experience is preferred.
