Oracle Architect / Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client looking for a hybrid Oracle Architect/Lead to join their team in Dallas, TX, Raleigh, NC, or Princeton, NJ. This person will help drive the design, development, and optimization of a large-scale enterprise data platform supporting a leading financial services organization.

Responsibilities:
* Design and enhance Oracle-based application and data solutions
* Develop and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL code
* Build scalable solutions capable of processing large volumes of data
* Perform query optimization and database performance tuning
* Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Lead technical design discussions and architectural reviews
* Conduct code reviews and establish development best practices
* Mentor and guide a team of Oracle developers
* Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability
* Support modernization and redesign efforts within an existing platform environment

REQUIREMENTS:
* 11+ years of software development experience
* Deep expertise in Oracle development
* Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills
* Experience writing high-performance queries and optimizing large-scale data processing applications
* Proven experience designing and building enterprise database solutions
* Ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands-on
* Strong understanding of data modeling, application design, and performance engineering
* Experience reviewing technical designs and code produced by other developers
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
