Job Title: AWS Cloud Data Architect 
Location: Albany, NY

Job Description: 

This position will support cloud support services, such as cloud integration technical assistance, cloud-based analytic and security programs, and training for Dept personnel on the use of cloud-based tools.

Duties:

  • Designing webservices and applications including researching and documenting technical designs, programming solutions, and customer technical support.
  • Developing unit tests and testing processes autonomously to ensure conformity of the application with business requirements and implement change management.
  • Managing the release management process, including the testing, promoting and releasing of applications through the development environment; and leading code critique sessions and overseeing the development of technical design documentation. 
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • The architect will also lead database design/development and user-interface enhancements.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience (15+ Years)
  • Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.

Requirements :

  • This is an 100% Onsite.
  • 84 months of experience in the design, implementation and deployment of web applications, single page front end applications, REST backends.
  • 84 months of experience designing and building cloud native and hybrid applications in AWS.
  • 84 months of experience with data processing, ETL and analysis with Python using libraries Pandas, NumPy.
  • 84 months of experience in design, implementation and deployment of system-to-system applications using REST APIs, REST Clients, Spring security.
  • 60 months of experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Oracle, Postgres, DynamoDB.
  • 60 months of experience in programming public sector government IT projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited institution.
