Job#: 3029182 Job Description: Senior Solutions Engineer (Cloud & DevOps Infrastructure)

Role Overview
As a Solutions Engineer, you will handle Jira engagement tickets for infrastructure builds, ranging from a few servers to several thousand. You will collaborate with architects on code selection, work with Terraform and GitHub, and engage with project managers to ensure timelines are met. This role requires excellent communication, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment where training is hands-on.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure build requests and develop lower-level designs.
- Work with architects to select appropriate code and utilize tools like Terraform and GitHub.
- Collaborate with project managers to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Handle infrastructure modifications, such as adding CPUs, as needed.
- Provide support to teammates and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Address and generate inquiries, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience as an Infrastructure Architect or Cloud Architect. Experience with CI/CD deployment methodologies is necessary.
Technical Skills:- Hands-on expertise in creating, using, and debugging Terraform code and configurations.
- Proficiency in DevOps/CloudOps with provisioning and configuration management technologies.
- PowerShell scripting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Scripting experience using JSON files.
- A Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
- Familiarity with application middleware architecture (IIS/.NET), network architecture, and hardware architecture.
