Summary

Summary:

The Senior Cardiology & Hemodynamics Applications Engineer will provide oversight, configuration validation, and workflow support for cardiology, hemodynamics, electrophysiology (EP), ECG/Holter management, and ancillary clinical applications during the PACS migration and consolidation initiative. This role will ensure smooth integration, testing, and post-migration stabilization of highly specialized systems that are critical to cardiology and invasive lab operations across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical validation and support during the migration, consolidation, and integration of cardiology and hemodynamics systems, including Merge Cardio, GE CardioLab, Mac-Lab, WorkMate Claris, LABSYSTEM PRO, and related EP platforms.
  • Oversee ECG and Holter management systems such as MUSE, CardioDay, H-Scribe, and SpaceLabs Sentinel.
  • Validate workflow configurations and integrations with PACS, EMR, and enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with OEM vendors to test and optimize system performance during migration and cutover events.
  • Support data validation, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple modalities.
  • Document system workflows, integration points, and configuration updates for operational handoff and future reference.
  • Troubleshoot escalated technical and workflow issues in collaboration with IT, clinical, and vendor teams.
  • Provide input for post-go-live stabilization and knowledge transfer for support teams.

Experience & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT supporting cardiology, hemodynamics, or EP applications.
  • Expertise in platforms such as Merge Cardio, GE CardioLab, Philips Cardio and Change Cardio
  • Hands-on experience with ECG/Holter management systems (MUSE, CardioDay, H-Scribe, SpaceLabs Sentinel, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of integration protocols including DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and vendor-specific APIs.
  • Proven ability to support workflow testing, configuration validation, and issue resolution during large-scale migration programs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-pressure clinical environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and clinical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and security standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2).
