Job Title - Oracle Fusion Data Migration Lead

Contract Duartion - 12+ Months Remote

The Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Deployment Lead to manage the multi-year, multi-phased Oracle Fusion Upgrade Program. This critical role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of all deployment activities across Finance, Procurement and Product Data Hub phases of the upgrade program. The Deployment Lead will ensure seamless integration, minimal disruption, and successful implementation of Oracle Fusion solutions while coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. This position requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution to manage deployment activities across multiple phases of the upgrade program

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deployment Planning and Strategy:
• Develop, manage and execute a comprehensive detailed deployment plans with clear milestones and timelines for each phase of the Oracle Fusion upgrade program.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define deployment strategies that align with program goals and timelines.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth deployments.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Serve as the central point of communication, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working cohesively toward deployment objectives.
• Work closely with Vendors, IT and business stakeholders to align deployment activities with organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with implementation vendors to ensure adherence to deployment schedules and quality standards, and accountability
• Ensure synchronization across other deployment phases for staggered Warehouse Management system, Order to Cash and Plan to Make, in addition to deployments outside of this program on boundary/impacted systems
• Ensure comprehensive testing including functional, performance, integration, and user acceptance testing has been conducted at each phase

1. Risk Management and Compliance:
• Identify and address deployment risks, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards.
• Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and IT General Controls (ITGC) throughout the deployment lifecycle. Each phase must adhere to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements including existing Production ERP environment that Fusion will integrate to.
• Ensure GXP Compliance and Change Controls are all tested, approved and ready for deployment

1. Technical Oversight:
• Oversee the system configuration, testing, and rollout of Oracle Fusion modules, for the specific phase going live, including the integrations with current ERP and other impacted boundary systems
• Ensure proper integration with existing systems and data migration processes including data integrity, accuracy during conversion.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during deployment phases
• They ensure the upgraded Oracle Fusion modules (ERP, GRC, etc.) function seamlessly within the organization's ecosystem
• Managing high data volumes and ensuring data accuracy during migration.
• Adapting to regional and global deployment related aspects

1. Program Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track deployment progress and provide regular updates to program leadership and stakeholders on milestones, challenges, resolutions and mitigation steps
• Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes, lessons learned, and best practices.

1. Continuous Improvement and Post Deployment Support:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization during each phase of the upgrade program.
• Ensure scalability and flexibility in deployment strategies to accommodate future needs.
• Providing adequate support after each phase of deployment to address user issues, system bugs, or performance challenges is essential.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading deployments for large-scale Oracle Fusion programs, preferably across multi-year and multi-phased projects.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules, including ERP, SCM, and GRC.
• Expertise in deployment planning, risk management, and technical troubleshooting and SOX and IT Change Controls.
• Hands on experience with deployment for Finance, Procurement and Product Data Hub modules to enhance financial operations, ensure compliance, and Chart of Account and Item Master data redesign.
• Experience with advanced features like financial forecasting, year over year Financial results reporting, Data reconciliation and compliance.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud-based systems and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Oracle Fusion or related technologies.
• Experience managing complex projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
