Job Title: Autonomous Systems Integration Engineer

Location: Crystal City, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Qualifications

Message schemas - develop message schemas, application interfaces, and APIs for autonomous and distributed systems
Sensor payload_integration - integrate sensors, payloads, and Command and Control (C2) interfaces into system architectures
System debugging - debug hardware and software issues across embedded and distributed systems, with emphasis on network and data-flow troubleshooting
Cross functional support - collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable system integration, performance, and mission readiness
Technical execution - contribute to design reviews, integration testing, and continuous improvement of system-level interfaces and workflows

Education requirements - bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or related field (position-based substitutions possible)
Experience level - 3+ years of relevant industry experience; 5+ years preferred
Python & C++ - software development experience using Python and C++ with modern design patterns
Dependency management - experience with Conan and/or Nix for software dependency and environment management
Linux tooling - experience working in Linux environments and with source-control, build, and CI/CD tools
