Duration: 6+ months with the possibility for extensions
Join a fast-growing autonomous systems team developing advanced unmanned aircraft capabilities. We are seeking a HIL/SIL Test Engineer to design and execute verification strategies for mission-critical software and hardware systems.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) test environments
- Build automated test frameworks, test harnesses, and verification tools
- Design and execute system-level verification and validation activities
- Analyze test logs, telemetry, and system performance data
- Troubleshoot complex software and hardware integration issues
- Collaborate with software, systems, and test engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in test engineering, integration engineering, verification & validation, or related environments
- Experience developing automated test solutions
- Proficiency with Python and/or C++
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tools
Preferred Qualifications- HIL/SIL development experience
- Autonomous systems, robotics, UAV, or aerospace experience
- ROS/ROS2 experience
- Familiarity with Conan and/or Nix
- Experience with simulation environments
- Active security clearance
