- The Test Manager is a senior level role that owns the End-to-end Test Management Manual Automation and Non-functional Testing of the application and peripheral systems which are in scope of the vendor and ensures successful delivery of the projects with quality.
- This role should be proficient with Test management and Delivery.
- The person should also be capable of capturing sharing the various test metrics.
- The role is expected to work closely with the customer QA management to help facilitate continuous proactive improvements of approaches and processes as well as bringing industry trends and accelerators.
Responsibilities
- Define overall Test Plan strategy for the application and peripheral applications in scope.
- Collaborate with technical architecture project team and ensure the overall Testing approach is in align to the proposed solution ensures industry best testing practices are followed.
- Define the Test practice methodologies to be followed.
- Walkthrough of overall Test plan to all the stakeholders.
- Create the schedule assign tasks track the progress.
- Conduct periodic reviews of all Test artefacts, Test Plan, Test cases, Test Scripts, Test Results etc provide proactive feedback and ensure 100 test coverage.
- Mentor team leads prospective Test managers and contribute to building the next level test manager in the organization.
- Identify potential reusable test artefacts solutions accelerators and contribute to creation of market differentiating Ips.
- Responsible for data collection to support program project strategic and operational l metrics monthly executive scorecard metrics and trending reports for supported products applications.
- Proactively identify risks dependencies between systems teams and work with leadership team
- Handling Teams from different geographical locations and clients
- Collaborate with client in arriving at NFRs conduct performance Testing measure the performance benchmarks and ensure the overall solution meets the NFRs
- Ensures that application fulfil the security requirements
Experience
- Minimum of 12 years of experience with prior test management experience
- Should be able to manage a team size of 5 or more at onsite and coordinate with 30 team at offshore.
- Prior knowledge of Insurance and Duck Creek.
- Should have experience in Test management tools like DevAzure, Jira, Rally, HP ALM etc
- Prior experience in Automation Testing using Selenium BDD
- Well versed with software development model using Iterative and Agile Scrum
- Prior experience of front facing customers
- Ability to work independently as an integral part of a team take initiative and contribute in a fast paced environment
- Should have excellent written and oral communication skills
